All our customers are covered by a 5-Year Limited Warranty on all products.
What's covered
Our warranty covers any factory defects in materials or construction, provided that:
1) The product was installed and used correctly within a suitable environment.
2) The Shutter Store’s guidelines on product limitations and requirements have been followed.
Who is covered
The only person covered by the warranty is the original purchaser of the product. For example, if you have moved into a property with shutters from The Shutter Store, but were not the original purchaser, you are not covered within the warranty.
Our obligations to you
Under the warranty, our responsibility is limited to repairing or replacing defective products. We do not cover shipping fees, or 3rd party labour costs associated with measuring, fitting, removal, or reinstallation of shutters. If a repair is necessary, we will always endeavor to use the same products. Should an item, color, or part be discontinued, you will receive the closest available match.
What isn't covered
Damage caused by accidents, alterations, misuse, negligence, or poor maintenance will not be covered, nor will everyday wear and tear. It's important to note that shutters' exposure to sunlight may lead to color fading over time and so this is not covered either.
A gentle reminder
This warranty is exclusive and replaces all other warranties, obligations, or liabilities, written or verbal. No individual, even those working for The Shutter Store, is authorized to modify or extend this warranty.
Any warranty claims must be submitted with the original sales receipt or proof of purchase alongside details of the issue, including supporting imagery.
