At The Shutter Store, we offer a range of different shutter colors and finishes to provide the perfect finishing touch and complement your interior design choices.

Shutter colors by material
Our DIY shutters are available in the finest quality
hardwood and
faux wood materials. Each material has different paint or stain options to customize the look of your new window shutters.
Faux Wood Shutter Colors
Faux wood shutters are our 100% waterproof window dressing solution. They have the same timeless appearance as traditional wooden shutters, but their waterproof properties make them perfect for bathrooms, kitchens, and wet rooms.
This range is available in two different options, American Wood Core shutters and Eco Wood shutters. There are different paint and hinge color options available for both options.
American Wood Core Shutter Paints
Our American Wood Core faux wood shutters are available in a white paint color only.

You can though customize the color of your hinges with three different options; white, swiss and stainless steel.

Eco Wood Shutter Paints
Eco Wood faux wood shutters are available in a choice of four different paints. This means you have greater finishing options if you want waterproof shutters in different color tones.

Please note that Eco Wood shutters are only available with a snow white hinge color.

Hardwood Shutter Colors
Hardwood shutters not only provide the classic shutter aesthetic, they can also be customized to your hearts content with a range of paints and stains.
This range is available in two different options, Luxe Wood Shutters and American Wood Shutters. Both options have a variety of different paint, stain and hinge color options.
Luxe Wood Shutter Paints
For Luxe Wood hardwood shutters, we offer seven different paint options to customize the appearance of your shutters. So, from vivid white to dusty grey you can choose the right tone for your home.
Luxe Wood Shutter Stains
Our Luxe Wood hardwood shutters can also be custom finished in eight different stains. From honey stains to matte black stains, we have plenty of options to select from.
If you choose our Luxe Wood painted or stained shutters, you will have the option to choose from eight different hinge colors. These options include vivid white, natural white, off white, stainless, brass, antique, rub bronze and black.
American Wood Shutter Paints
For our American Wood hardwood shutters, we offer a couple of paint options to customize the look of your new window dressing. These colors include white and bright white.

Painted Shutters
Our painted shutters are finished with high quality paint in whatever color you choose. This results in a beautiful coat that helps make a real statement.
Painted shutters are the go-to choice for achieving a contemporary look. Crafted to perfection, they’re ideal for both traditional interiors and homes with a more modern twist.
Stained Shutters
Our stained shutters offer a rustic and more natural finishing touch. This is a great way to incorporate nature into your home.

White Shutters
White is the most popular color when it comes to shutters. The reason that this neutral tone has been the dominant choice for window dressings for years is because it complements any interior design choices.
Selecting white doesn’t have to be a boring choice though. We have a range of tones from vivid white to oyster white to choose from.
Grey Shutters
If you want to deviate from the classic white shutter tones, grey shutters are a good alternative. Light greys offer an airy and modern aesthetic. Whilst darker tones provide contrast and depth to any space.
Black Shutters
For a bold choice, you could choose one of our black tones. These colors provide a striking contrast to other interior design colors and offer a dramatic aesthetic in any space.
Cream Shutters
Similarly with white tones, cream shutters offer that classic aesthetic and timeless elegance. This color provides a neutral finishing touch that will complement your interior design choices.
