You may remember The Shutter Store recently launched a special collaboration with our friends at One Tree Planted in celebration of Earth Day on the 22nd April. Our promise? For every order placed on our website during our Earth Day celebration, we would plant one tree in support of reforestation in North America.
Well, we are proud to announce that with your help 150 trees have now been planted by the community at One Tree Planted, helping us make a positive impact on the planet while delivering bespoke DIY shutters to homes across the country. One Tree Planted are a non-profit organization based in Shelborne, Vermont. They focus on reforestation and protecting habitats for biodiversity, and most of their projects work to help with restoration from forest fires and floods, in some cases creating jobs and building communities across the world, not just the USA.
