“I chose to install shutters on the front door and look out windows as the main desire of moving to this property was to create distance from the road. A typical style in high density subdivisions in Canada is to do a frosted patterned glass. While this is great for privacy it inhibits light and prevents any view. The shutters are a great option as it allowed both privacy and maximizes light and views. Overall, the style in my home is a modern, estate style, open-plan concept. The full-height shutters do a great job of adding to this look and feel.

My main motive on my first shutter project from The Shutter Store was actually cost.  I received estimates from several companies and all were far higher than The Shutter Store, and with less options. The measuring is very simple. I originally used the measuring guides online but have reverted to taking them myself now with no problem. I install them myself with ease - typically in about 20-30 minutes per window. I have another one planned once I finish my basement and my main reason why I love your shutters so much is the full range of use they provide - from the great look, to maximum light, to angled filtered light to full privacy. The cost is also actually cheaper than buying a standard blind for many sizes! I found the whole experience fantastic.”
