Our wooden shutters are manufactured from sustainable timber and look just as fantastic in a modern home as they do in a period property.

Our faux wood shutter ranges are available in Polyvinyl or a Composite MDF. Polyvinyl is a highly durable material, which requires minimal effort to clean and maintain. Composite shutters provide the sturdiness and warmth of hardwood shutters, but also the resilience of vinyl or plastic shutters.

What is included when I order samples?

If you would like to see firsthand the color finish and quality of any of our ranges before you make your decision please click here to choose your free samples.

Your handy sample pack will include up to 4 small pieces of wood and/or vinyl in the colors of your choice. Please note that these are for color referencing only and you will not receive a frame sample.

How do I measure my windows for shutters?

It’s easy to measure for your shutters, all you need is a steel tape measure, a pen or pencil and some paper. 
Simply follow our shutter measuring guides and you’ll be done in no time.

    Choosing the right frame for your window

    Shutter frames are used to affix your shutters to your window area and they’re the perfect way to show off your shutters to full advantage. They're also useful for disguising uneven walls and windows that aren’t level, often found in older homes.

    Shutter frames come in two styles – inside mount, where the frame sits inside the window recess allowing you full use of your window sill, or outside mount, where the frame is mounted to the wall area, ideal if your windows aren’t recessed.

    Either way, your chosen shutter panels will be neatly mounted inside the shutter frames for a lovely professional finish.
