Anthracite shutters in high gloss with wide slats
Kelly Hoppen shutters have a unique flat slat profile, in addition these shutters have used very wide 4 1/2" slats to really show off this design. The shutters are painted in a high gloss anthracite grey color and have traditional central midrails. The gloss coloring goes perfectly with the wooden furniture in the room and perfectly contrasts the taupe and subtle shades of the room.
Kelly Hoppen kitchen shutters finished in Bisque
This minimal kitchen has been created with Kelly Hoppens signature style of subtle shades and colors based around her favourite shade, taupe. The shutters here have been constructed within recesses using an inside mount system. The panels have been left narrow as so they can be folded back into the recess without protruding into the room, also contrasting the wide louvers to make them appear larger. This design has also had the pushrods removed to keep as minimal and clean as possible.
Black Kelly Hoppen shutters in contrast to white bathroom
This gorgeously clean white bathroom design by Kelly Hoppen has used a contrasting black shutter on poplar wood. By contrasting the color the eye is drawn to the shutters making them the centrepiece of the room. The installation has been made with 3 1/2" slats and has used a central midrail to add stability and further light control. In this instance the bottom slats could be kept shut to keep privacy in the bathroom while the top slats were opened for light. As with many of Kelly's designs, the pushrod has been concealed for a more minimal look.

This large kitchen / dining area has contrasted dark colours with white walls to create a real monochrome effect. 3 1/2" slats have been used in this large window to stay in perspective with the size, similarly the window has been split into thirds to keep the best possible ratio between size and panel height. Having the panels appropriate widths allows you to have less wood covering your window and therefore allows more light into your room.
Elephant grey full height shutters in a kitchen/dining room
In this kitchen come dining room design, subtle shades have been used throughout to create a soft and calming look. The shutters installed here have used 3 1/2" slats with concealed pushrods. These full height door shutters would typically have a supportive midrail somewhere along the height, however these doors have been made with large striking panels to stay as minimal as possible.

Kelly Hoppen, the Queen of Taupe, is famous for her use of the subtle shade and complimentary subtle shades. From this you can see this room is an obvious Kelly Hoppen design immediately, with a perfect blend of subtle colors with unique accessories. Her shutters, much like her designs, are unique; By using a flat profile louvres and unique shades. These shutters have been made with 3 1/2" slats and finished off in high gloss Clay paint.

Kelly Hoppen shutters are unique with their flat profile slat design. This design has used her shutters as doors in this bright white themed room. They have been attached with a track and have utilised a central midrail for a more elegant feel. By using white throughout the room, the small dashes of color become the focal feature.
Stained elm Kelly Hoppen shutters with 89mm slats
This installation has used 3 1/2" slats with concealed pushrods giving a very open and minimal design to this highly unique kitchen and dining area. The elm wood has been stained with Smoked Oyster, one of Kelly's signature shades, matching the dark colors of the room and contrasting the off-white painted walls.

Kelly Hoppen has been coined the 'Queen of Taupe' for her use of the shade in her designs and self admittedly her favourite colour. This picture shows a close up of her unique flat slat profile in her signature color Taupe (known as Linen in our paint section). This installation has used 3 1/2" slats and is mounted as outside mount, yet is sitting in a very slight recess.

Opium red coloured full height shutters in a lounge
This lounge has used very narrow panels with full height shutters to create a very striking look. The narrow shutters have been installed with a track to allow them to stay correctly positioned. Using wide 4 1/2" louvres with narrow panels creates a very unique look so when added to the Kelly Hoppen coloring these shutters are perfectly suited to this dramatically designed lounge.
3 1/2" louvred shutters for a light bathroom
This modern bathroom in a New York flat has been fitted with white Kelly Hoppen shutters. White shutters are often the favorites in bathrooms as the colour tends to draw more light into the room - perfect for rooms that may have smaller windows, or rooms with only one window. The shutter is made of a single panel hinged for access when the window needs to be cleaned, however is aimed at staying closed and having light adjusted by the tilt of the shutter blades.
