When Shelia was remodeling her bathroom in her home in Mount Juliet on the outskirts of Nashville, she was a little unsure that she had measured her windows correctly. In fact, as Shelia admits she took the dimensions of her windows for shutters several times before placing her order. As Shelia went on to tell us,
"I researched different companies selling plantation shutters online as knew they would be cheaper than companies local to me.
I liked The Shutter Store website as there was a lots of information to help me. I read about choosing the right
I was not sure of myself. I measured my window about 7 times before I thought I got it right. And then after submitting my order The Shutter Store called to make sure my measurements where good. I am so glad they called because I had not measured for the slat size right, so we adjusted that for my window.
That phone call was great as it made sure the installation was perfect.
You can see what a difference the new shutters made compared to my old blinds. The design advice on the site was great and I decided to go for the larger slats to let in more light. I went for tier on tier shutters too, so that the top panels can be opened and the bottom closed over. The white shutters work really well with the white trim too.
All in all I love my new shutters and they really make the look of the bathroom"
Thanks so much for sending the before shots of your bathroom! We love seeing the difference that shutters make to a room and nothing shows that better than the 'before' shot. The micro blinds worked but versus the shutters, the shutters win hands down!
As everyone can see, you've done a great job with the bathroom. The stone tile also makes a huge difference. That said, of course we're going to be biased and say that the shutters make ALL the difference!
We're glad we got to work with you on this project and thanks for sharing your story with us.
