The videos on the website assisted not only with the measuring but with the the installation too as  the contractor hired to install the shutters was unable to work over the holiday period, so Frank did it himself and the worry of installation turned out not to be an issue after all.

As a resort town, Southport is always a draw for tourists and having lovely plantation shutters, in true Southern-style, to showcase Frank’s rooms can really bring the compliments to the household. Even after the shutters were installed, the amazement over the ease of the project was astounding. “A friend exclaimed they were beyond “all quality expectations” and the workmanship could "not be surpassed".            

Frank told us, “As you know we get a lot of heat in Southport North Carolina, so having beautiful plantation shutters with the adjustable louvers, is an excellent way to conserve energy!” Frank now knows that by tilting the louvers allows as much or as little light into the room as he requires. “The versatility of the shutters is a major plus! We can close the slats fully and have the room darkened for a bit of nap time or  there is always the ability to have the louvers slightly angled to allow light into the room but ensuring our privacy is maintained.”
