What are Quickfix Temporary Window Shades made from?
Our temporary blinds are made from a high quality vinyl.
Is this the same material used to make Redishade Temporary Window Shades?
Well, most Redishade blinds that you'd see are made from paper, not vinyl. Redishade do sell a vinyl blind, but it's generally sold at prices considerably higher than The Shutter Store's Quickfix.
Why are Vinyl Temporary Blinds better than paper temporary blinds?
Put simply, they are better quality and won't rip. They'll last longer and look better.
Can I order my Temporary Blinds from you in any size I like?
Well, no directly. The blinds are available in 2 standard sizes of width (36" and 48") and one drop, 72". You can cut the blinds width, to whatever size desired, down, although each size has a minimum width you can reduce to.
Can I cut my Quickfix temporary shades to any size I like?
The 36" temporary shades can be reduced to a width of XXX' and the 48' down to a width of YYY'
What if my windows are greater in width than the 36" or 48" you sell?
Just measure the width of your windows and then order the right number of blinds to cover that width.
How quickly do you deliver my temporary shades to my US home?
Quickfix temporary blinds are sent out the same working day. Depending on where in the US you're located, your blinds will be with you in around 3 working days.
Are temporary shades easy to remove?
Yes - we recommend you heat the top of blind using a hair dryer to warm and loosen the glue. This will make the blinds much easier to remove.
Can I mount Quickfix temporary shades on any window?
Mounting Quickfix blinds is easy and they can be affixed to most window types. However, give some thought to removing the blinds. If mounted to glass, aluminum or PVC, when heated with a hairdryer, removal is simple. We don't advise affixing the shades to wood window frames as removal of the blinds can damage the paint.
Do delivery charges apply to Quickfix Temporary Shades?
Yes - however we make no profit at all on the delivery charge. This is simply the cost the courier company charges The Shutter Store, passed onto you.
