Buy interior shutters online from our store, and you have a wide choice of wood stained shutter colors in addition to paint colors to choose from. However, we also sell unfinished interior wood shutters that will be delivered, completely custom made, but in your choice of raw wood or primed, depending upon the color you will apply.

The window treatments that we sell are not unfinished in their construction. It is simply that we will not complete the stain or paint process on your shutters, and will deliver them completely hand crafted but unfinished, leaving them ready for you to choose your finish.

If you want to apply your own paint color, we advise that we supply your shutters primed. That way, it makes painted your interior shutters much easier as the paint you use will adhere much easier to the wood. We will discuss the exact requirements you have when we call to check the order placed for your products online.

If you order unfinished shutters but want to stain them, we will use a slightly different process to sand the wood on your shutters. Again, this is done to make staining your shutters an easier process.

The interior shutters here have 3 1/2" louvers. They are large, full height panels and the majority of the time the panels remain closed with the louvers tilted to allow light in.
